Dennis Hamer (1991) is a photographer and environmental philosopher. In his photographic work he, intuitively, composes visual metaphors that represent the moods he experienced whilst wandering through a world in trouble.
My aim is to capture and communicate the experience I had at that one specific moment in time. For some reason, I tend towards gritty realist scenes infused with a sense of romantic melancholy. Images that seem to articulate a longing for the moment that ended so harshly with the deliberate act of closing the shutter.
